Dr Hisham Burezq Clinic
Dr. Hisham Adel Burezq is a highly accomplished Kuwaiti Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, and Pediatric Plastic Surgeon who has built a distinguished career centered in Kuwait, bringing more than 20 years of expert specialist experience since earning his high degrees and fellowships. After completing his medical degrees from Kuwait University, he underwent extensive residency training in plastic, reconstructive, hand, and burn surgery at McGill University, followed by a specialized Pediatric Microsurgery Fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children via the University of Toronto. Backed by elite credentials—including fellowships with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the American Academy of Pediatrics—Dr. Burezq is a prominent figure in his country's medical community, having served as the former chairman of the plastic surgery department at the Al-Babtain Center for Burns and Plastic Surgery and previously practicing at Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Hospital. He is also a co-founder of the Cleft Lip and Palate Team in Kuwait, dedicatedly serving patients across both the governmental and private sectors. As a prolific researcher with about 30 publications, a textbook contributor, and a frequent international presenter, his academic leadership extends to having served as the Dean of the Faculty of Plastic Surgery at the Kuwait Institute of Medical Specialities and his ongoing role as President of the Kuwait Society of Plastic Surgeons. Beyond his institutional milestones, he remains deeply committed to global humanitarian work as the co-founder of the Kuwait Forum Charity organization and as the founder and chief of the Kuwait Surgical Hope Team, which has performed thousands of free surgeries across Africa and Asia since 2009. Currently, he manages his own solo practice, travels to practice as a visiting doctor in both Doha, Qatar, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and maintains active memberships in the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Association of Pediatric Plastic Surgery.
